Garlic Time!
Now that October is upon us, it’s time to plant the garlic! There are two varieties of garlic, softneck and hardneck. The “neck” of garlic is the stem of the plant. Hardneck garlic tends to grow larger, produces a garlic scape (an edible stalk that is great for pesto, stir fry, and etc.), is hardier in Northern climates, and has more of a complex flavor than a softneck garlic (softneck is what is in the grocery store). Lettuce Talk About This Wonderful Green!!
Everyone knows Lettuce! A wonderful green that offers many shapes, sizes, and textures. Certain kinds of Lettuce grow at certain times of the growing season. I grow my own Lettuce from early Spring until mid November. Pictured above is one of my favorites… Buttercrunch!! This Lettuce is an early to late Spring variety. Prevention through the Soul-Body-Spirit Connection

It’s All About Tomato Seeds!
One of my biggest garden planning decisions, other than what I’m planting and where, is what I am going to buy as far as tomato seeds! The Weather Is Changing!!
I don’t know about you but for me, I am super excited that Spring is just around the corner!! I am an avid gardener so once I see the smallest of green pop up in the garden, I get excited!!
